Kyle Smith Promotion
Saint Paul, MN - May 20, 2008 -The Reell Board of Directors is very pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Kyle Smith to the position of President and CEO effective immediately.
Dr. Smith has been responsible for many of the CEO duties on an interim basis for the last several months and has done an excellent job. His leadership, knowledge of business and the markets, along with his passion to serve the coworkers of Reell made him a unanimous choice by the Board. The Board looks forward to working closely with him on the future direction of Reell.
Smith joined Reell in January of 2006, and has served as its President since that time. Prior to joining Reell, he held leadership positions at Hill-Rom (a medical products and solutions company), and at Eastman Kodak's medical imaging division. He received his Ph.D. in Solid Sate Chemistry from Brown University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Missouri at Columbia.
