Torque Inserts
Reell’s custom torque inserts and standard torque inserts use our patented clip technology to provide a smooth feel and quality constant torque over life. The Reell Model TI100 and TI200 torque inserts use Reell’s patented torque clip technology to provide a smooth feel of quality and consistent torque over long life. The TI100 series is designed to be pressed into a variety of materials with a keyed cavity. It is available with torque ranges of 0.2 to 1.2 Nm (1.8 to 10.6 lb-in) and 1.4 to 4.2 Nm (12.4 to 37.2 lb-in). The TI100 series provides equal torque in both directions. The TI200 series is designed for plastic insert molding. It is available with torque ranges of 1.5 to 3.5 Nm (13.3 to 31.0 lb-in); and 5 to 8 Nm (44.3 to 70.8 lb-in). The TI200 series offers differential torque, generating full torque in one direction and 60 percent of this torque in the opposite direction. This allows objects to be easily positioned, while still providing maximum support against gravity.
